Service and Rebuilds
I have been rebuilding superchargers since 2014 and I offer supercharger rebuild services on a limited basis depending on time and availability.
The basic rebuild consists of installation of the following serviceable parts:
1. Supercharger cleaning
- Oil/grease/contaminants removal from supercharger exterior, pulley, flywheel, clutch hub, friction pads, threaded holes, etc.
2. Oil seal replacement
- Installation of 9 new internal oil seals
- Installation of new internal hardware
3. Clutch/pulley bearings replacement
- Inspection of clutch hub and friction pads
- Pressing out of worn clutch bearings
- Installation of 2 new clutch bearings
4. Impeller shaft bearings replacement
- Inspection and measurement of impeller shaft runout
- Pressing out of worn impeller shaft bearings
- Installation of 2 new high-precision impeller shaft bearings
5. Documentation of work performed
- Full documentation of the rebuild process via 50+ pictures
- Pictures shared via Google Drive
6. Return shipping
- Return shipping via FedEx Priority Express (US only).
7. Warranty
1-year
Cost: $2900
Any additional parts that may be required or need to be custom CNC-machined due to previous failure or damage would be evaluated and priced separately and in addition to the basic cost of the $2900 serviceable rebuild. (This is be more typical of higher mileage superchargers with permanently worn and damaged internal components.)
How it works:
The process is simple - you ship the supercharger to me in California and after the rebuild I ship it back to you. The turnaround time is usually 2-3 days + 1-day for shipping (US only).
Throughout the rebuild I take many detailed pictures of the entire process and share those with you to document the condition of your supercharger and ensure full transparency of the work performed.
I strive for 100% transparency with all of my rebuilds and keep the customer fully aware of the condition of their superchargers and the work that I perform. An enthusiast grade rebuild from a professional automotive engineer and actual OCD owner of these cars.
